Account

How to reset your password
  1. Go to the login page and click "Forgot Password".
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset link.
  4. Click the link and enter your new password.
  5. Log in with your new password.
How to update your account settings
  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Settings" in the sidebar.
  3. Update your name, email, or other account details.
  4. Click "Save" to apply your changes.

Billing

How to upgrade your plan
  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Billing" in the sidebar.
  3. You will see your current plan and available upgrades.
  4. Click "Upgrade" next to the plan you want.
  5. Complete the payment through Paystack.
  6. Your new plan takes effect immediately — no downtime.
How to downgrade your plan
  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Billing" in the sidebar.
  3. Click "Change Plan" and select a lower tier.
  4. Your plan will change at the end of your current billing cycle.
  5. No data is lost when downgrading, but resource limits will adjust.
How to cancel your subscription
  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Billing" in the sidebar.
  3. Click "Cancel Subscription".
  4. Your hosting remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  5. Download any backups before your plan expires.

Websites

How to deploy your first website
  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Websites" and click "New Website".
  3. Connect your Git repository or upload your project files.
  4. Configure your build settings (framework, build command, etc.).
  5. Click "Deploy" — your site will be live within minutes.
How to add a custom domain
  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Domains" in the sidebar.
  3. Click "Add Domain" and enter your domain name.
  4. Update your domain's DNS records to point to Bluebookhost (we provide the records).
  5. Wait for DNS propagation (usually under 1 hour).
  6. SSL is provisioned automatically once the domain resolves.

Backups

How to manage backups
  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Navigate to "Backups" in the sidebar.
  3. View your backup history and schedule.
  4. To restore a backup, click "Restore" next to the backup you want.
  5. Confirm the restore — your site will be reverted to that backup.
