7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want you to feel confident choosing Bluebookhost. If our service doesn't meet your expectations, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. No questions asked.
Eligibility
- Available to first-time customers only — one refund per account.
- The refund window begins on the date of your first successful payment and ends 7 calendar days later.
- Only hosting plans qualify. Domain registrations, add-on services, and third-party licenses are non-refundable.
- Renewal charges (second billing cycle onward) are not eligible for a refund.
Exclusions
Refunds will not be issued if:
- Your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- Excessive resource abuse was detected during the refund window.
- A chargeback or dispute has been filed with your payment provider.
How to Request a Refund
- Log in to your Billing Dashboard.
- Click "Request Refund" in the Money-Back Guarantee section.
- Tell us why — your feedback helps us improve.
- Our team will review your request and process it within 3–5 business days.
Alternatively, you can email us at support@bluebookhost.co.za with your account email and reason for the refund.
What Happens After Approval
- Your refund will be returned to the original payment method via Paystack.
- All hosting services associated with the refunded subscription will be terminated immediately.
- Data (files, databases, backups) will be permanently deleted within 48 hours of refund approval. Please export any data you need before requesting a refund.
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Billing Dashboard. Cancellation is effective immediately, but your hosting services will remain active until the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again.
- No prorated refunds are issued for unused time after the 7-day money-back window has passed.
- Your data (files, databases, backups) is retained for 30 days after your billing period ends, giving you time to export everything you need.
- After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- If you change your mind, you can reactivate your subscription within the 30-day window and your data will be restored.
Plan Upgrades and Downgrades
Upgrades
Upgrades take effect immediately. You are taken to checkout and charged the new plan rate right away. A new 30-day billing cycle begins from the date of your upgrade. No credit is issued for unused days on your previous plan.
Downgrades
Downgrades are scheduled for your next renewal date — your current plan and pricing remain active until then. To qualify for the lower rate:
- Reduce your hosted websites to within the new plan's limit at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
- If you do, your subscription switches automatically and you are charged the lower plan rate on renewal day.
- If you have not removed the extra websites in time, the downgrade is cancelled and your subscription auto-renews at your current rate.
Downgrades are not eligible for cash refunds for the current billing period.
